Ad agency to rent Leeds office space from IVG property fund
IVG, the European property fund, has signed up the Gratterpalm advertising agency to lease 15,000 sq ft of Leeds office space in LS12.
Gratterpalm has been recognised top regional creative in the retail sector and signalling its growth ambitions the ad men have agreed to 10-year lease. The headline rent for the Grade-A LS1 office space is £20/sq ft but the Gratterpalm’s advisers have negotiated a two-year rent-free period.
The award winning design agency will move 3 miles to the modern office rental in Leeds town centre from their current HQ within a stone-built warehouse conversion in the Kirkstall, LS5.
No. 1 Leeds has been awarded a BREEAM Excellent eco-rating and offers top quality office space within walking distance of Leeds Railway Station.
The 122,000 sq ft ‘Green’ office rental on Whitehall Road even offers dedicated charging points for electric cars.
IVG is a subsidiary of the Luxembourg-based Oppenheim group. It purchased the building from the former HBG Properties, and dropped the original name of Latitude Red in favour of the No.1 Leeds brand name. IVG also co-owns the iconic Gherkin tower at 33 St Mary Axe in City of London.
