Modern Slavery Statement

At FreeOfficeFinder, we are committed to upholding high ethical standards in our business practices. We support the UK Government’s efforts to eliminate modern slavery and human trafficking and are fully committed to ensuring these practices have no place in our business or supply chain.

This statement sets out the actions we are taking to prevent modern slavery in compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Our Business

FreeOfficeFinder Ltd helps businesses find flexible office space across London and the UK. We do not manufacture goods or manage buildings, but we engage with a range of serviced office providers, landlords and companies.

We are aware of our responsibilities and we must be vigilant about the risks in our supply chain and broader business relationships.

Our Commitment

  • We do not tolerate any form of forced labour, slavery or human trafficking.
  • We ensure that our hiring practices fully comply with all UK employment laws and right-to-work checks.
  • We expect all partners, office providers and suppliers to share our commitment to fair treatment and human rights.
  • We request regular assurances from suppliers, partners and serviced office providers that they also comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Key Policies Supporting Our Commitment

Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy

Upholds the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and states that suppliers must undergo due diligence checks and staff training.

Ethics Code

Reinforces our commitment to the Act, focusing on responsible sourcing, due diligence and training.

Whistleblowing Policy

Encourages partners and staff to report any concerns, including suspected cases of slavery or trafficking. We also offer access to a helpline for staff to make anonymous reports.

Human Rights Policy

Aligns with the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, specifically denouncing slavery.

Due Diligence and Risk Assessment

Our business model carries a low risk of modern slavery; however, we continue to remain vigilant in the following ways.

  • We review our supplier relationships and office provider partners to identify potential areas of concern.
  • Any concerns raised will be investigated and acted upon quickly. Whether reported internally or externally.
  • We will take appropriate steps, including ending business relationships, with suppliers that fail to meet our standards.

Staff Awareness

We ensure that our staff are aware of the signs of modern slavery and trafficking and are familiar with how to report concerns.

Ongoing Commitment & Responsibility

We will continually review and develop our policies to ensure they remain effective in preventing modern slavery in all aspects of our business operations.

It is the responsibility of FreeOfficeFinder’s directors and senior management to implement and maintain these standards. This includes regular reviews and resource allocation.
