Newcastle is renowned for being a great shopping destination, with Eldon Square and Grey Street the most popular spots for retail therapy. There are also several departments stores here, including John Lewis and Fenwick. For picking up kitchen essentials and lunch, there are supermarkets close by, including Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Tesco in and around the Eldon Square area.
For grabbing dinner after a day in the office, Chinatown is situated on Stowell Street while cuisines such as French, Greek and Italian can all be easily found in the main city centre. Newcastle’s nightlife is renowned too, so you won’t be short of places to grab drinks or let your hair down after the working day ends.
