What Finfare Connect Were Looking For
Finfare came to us looking to establish a London headquarters. They were considering several locations for their office, including King’s Cross and Farringdon, and required space for 8 to 12 desks with room to expand as their team grew.
The company told us that although they would be happy to use shared meeting facilities, a dedicated meeting room was preferable. They also needed the workspace to accommodate their dog, so finding a pet-friendly building was key.
How We Found Their New Office
When we first spoke with the Finfare Connect team they were overseas, so the initial stages of the search were handled remotely over email and phone. We then scheduled a call to agree on a plan for moving forward. Once they arrived back in the UK we arranged a full day of viewings. Their required start date was fast approaching, and after choosing their favourite option, we had only a week to get everything agreed and signed.
Why Farringdon Was a Good Fit for Finfare Connect
Farringdon sits at the intersection of the City and Clerkenwell. The area attracts a growing cluster of tech-based and financial businesses, which we felt made it a stronger fit for Finfare Connect than the other areas they were considering.
As an overseas company, connectivity was an important consideration. Farringdon station is served by multiple Tube lines, the Elizabeth Line, and Thameslink services, offering strong links across London and direct access to Heathrow Airport.
The area itself is walkable and surrounded by independent cafes, restaurants, and green spaces, which we find suits smaller, growing teams new to the city.
The Workspace They Chose
Finfare Connect chose a serviced office space located in a distinctive brick building on St John’s Lane. The property overlooks the historic St John’s Gate, which we felt gave it a strong sense of character and place, ideal for businesses establishing their first London base.
The office includes a dedicated meeting room, which was a preference from the outset. Capacity for up to 30 desks was also available, allowing Finfare to expand well beyond their initial requirement of 8-12 desks.
We were pleased to find a suitable building that also operated a pet-friendly policy, a central part of their brief. We particularly liked the terrace, giving both the team and their dog access to outdoor space.
We helped Finfare Connect view, sign, and move into a space that met all their requirements all within the same week.
