HeadBox are an AI-powered online venue booking platform that connects event planners with unique spaces for social and corporate events. They came to us looking for a serviced office space to rent in Shoreditch, and we found them a workspace that met all of their requirements.
HeadBox's Brief
HeadBox’s previous office was split across multiple floors, meaning a single-level workspace was a priority from the outset. The company requested space for 50 to 60 desks, with room to grow, along with dedicated amenities, including phone booths, breakout space, and a kitchen.
The team at HeadBox wanted a customisable office they could brand as their own. Their budget was flexible, with the focus on finding the right layout rather than the lowest price.
How We Narrowed the Search
We arranged a day of viewings across a selection of properties which we felt matched HeadBox’s brief. After each viewing, we gathered quotes and talked through the options with their team.
This helped them to create a shortlist of their preferred offices, which we then organised second viewings for, allowing them to compare layouts and ask any follow-up questions. From there, we established which was their top choice and began price negotiations.

The Office They Chose
HeadBox chose a self-contained private office in a prominent red-brick building on Hewett Street, Shoreditch, which was central to their brief. Having their own floor gave them full control over the space, allowing them to customise it to their own preferences.
The workspace is open-plan and spacious, comfortably accommodating their requirement for 50 to 60 desks. It also offers plenty of room for future growth and adapting layouts as their needs change.
We were pleased to find a space that met all their needs, including a breakout space, a kitchen, and phone booths. The building benefits from natural light and greenery throughout, which we felt would make a real difference to a large team spending long days in the office.
Hewett Street itself is tucked away from the busier parts of Shoreditch, offering a quieter base for HeadBox employees to work without losing access to the area’s amenities and transport links.
