1. Fulham High Street, Fulham
If you’re looking for an office and a treadmill with a view, this SW6 flexible workspace might just tick the boxes. We love that employees can watch the dawn break or the sunset over the city while they exercise, making it easy to stay motivated.
Our team returned after a client wanted to view the space again on a sunnier day to see how much natural light the office and gym receive.
In addition to state-of-the-art gym facilities, the workspaces are spacious and contemporary. We found the addition of ergonomic chairs to be a nice touch, ensuring employees can work comfortably.
The centre always has a real buzz about it, and we even caught a glimpse of the events programme in action on our recent visit.
2. High Holborn, Holborn
We recommend this option to businesses seeking a campus-style environment, without the student antics. Members are allocated an office or coworking desk, alongside access to a light-filled gym with characterful exposed brickwork.
The team revisited with a client who asked whether the gym could accommodate their expanding team, and they were impressed by its generous size and the availability of free weights and machines.
With flexible floorplates, the property welcomes teams of all sizes, from startups to growing companies. We found the open-plan breakout area equally well considered, with a mix of seating for meetings, brainstorming or just time away from the desk.
The building is situated on High Holborn, between the Financial District and the West End, and we find this makes it an ideal base for client-facing firms. We like that members also have access to the operators' campus in Camden, a useful perk if your team is spread across the city or you simply fancy a change of scenery.
3. Cannon Street
This self-contained, fully furnished workspace on Cannon Street is well-suited to businesses looking for a space they can make their own. We revisited with a client who had gym facilities high on their list of requirements. They were struck by how well-equipped the gym was, with extensive free weights, cable equipment and gymnastic rings, all in a large space.
Occupiers also benefit from shower and changing facilities, ensuring they feel refreshed before returning to work. Our team particularly liked the breakout area, where floor-to-ceiling windows look directly out onto the roof terrace.
Located within a ten-minute walk of Mansion House, Cannon Street and Bank stations, the building offers excellent connectivity across multiple tube lines, the DLR and national rail.
4. Great Portland Street, Fitzrovia
Housed in an iconic historic building in the heart of Fitzrovia, this workspace draws inspiration from 1960s recording studios. While accompanying a client on a viewing, we were welcomed in via the concierge-style reception, and offices are fully customisable to suit each business.
The fitness studio caught the client's attention straight away, accommodating everything from cardio and weights to yoga sessions. We particularly like how the treadmills and spin bikes, alongside greenery, make it feel more like a boutique gym.
The breakout area also stood out to us, with bold lighting and checkerboard flooring adding a real sense of creative character.
5. North Row, Mayfair
If it's luxury you're after, look no further.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear this building had been designed with both business and wellbeing in mind. We were particularly impressed by the ultra-fast internet connectivity and banking-grade IT infrastructure throughout.
The real standout for us, though, was the Virgin Active Health Club located within the property. We accompanied a client on an early morning viewing and noticed the health club was already busy with staff before the working day had even started. Bookable classes and a wide range of facilities make it a strong option for teams with different fitness goals.
In addition, there is an elegantly decorated VIP lounge, an in-house concierge service and fully stocked shower facilities with fresh towels. We also loved that afternoon tea is served daily, creating a more thoughtful and premium feel for staff.
We recently revisited with a client who was comparing workspaces in Mayfair, and the amenities impressed them so much that it went to the top of their shortlist.
Marble Arch station is just a few seconds away, and from our experience, this office is consistently popular, so we'd recommend booking a viewing as soon as possible.
6. Central Street, Clerkenwell
Situated between Clerkenwell and Old Street, right on the edge of London's design and tech districts, FORA takes a 'pro-working' approach, combining coworking flexibility with hospitality-style facilities.
We could see this approach reflected in the wellness studio, which is set up to support both gym workouts and meditation. Staff we spoke to appreciate having access to subsidised classes such as yoga, HIIT and personal training, saying it allowed them to try something they might not have otherwise.
We went back after a client asked how busy the studio gets during these sessions and found there was still plenty of room even with a full class.
On our return visit, we noticed the large industrial-style windows that let in plenty of natural light, creating a bright and airy feel throughout. The office also provided ample space for collaboration alongside private booths for focused work.
Whilst wellness is clearly a priority, the centre also has a strong community feel, with members connecting regularly at monthly resident drinks and breakfasts.
