Serviced office providers, Office Space in Town, have acquired the long leasehold interest on 20-22 Tudor Street. The enormous seven-storey building has 36,000 square feet of space, which OSIT intends on fitting out with serviced offices. The company plan to carry out major refurbishments to the Midtown property, meaning businesses may have a wait before renting office space there.

The building itself sits near the north bank of the River Thames, just minutes away from Blackfriars Station. Along with refurbishing the current space, the office providers are considering adding further office space and a roof terrace to the building. Sitting at the foot of London’s Midtown, the building is surrounded by The City, Covent Garden and Clerkenwell. The building is also well connected to a number of major transport links.

Office Space in Town acquired the building from the international real estate investor and asset manager, Meadow Partners. This will be their seventh London office location alongside other serviced offices already established in areas like Mayfair, St Pauls and Liverpool Street.

The company was set up in 2009 by brother and sister, Giles and Niki Fuchs, who have a growing portfolio of commercial property across the UK. “We are delighted to be back on the acquisition trail again”, noted Giles, having not purchased a new office space in recent years.

Office Space in Town are notable for their themed office spaces. The Waterloo office theme is Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland and their St Paul’s offices resemble an exclusive member’s club, dedicated to old English culture. Their new Midtown space will likely come with another surprising fit-out.
