Grangemouth
Grangemouth is a town in Scotland, 3 miles east of Falkirk. Once a bustling port, Grangemouth’s economy is now primarily focused on the petrochemical industry, with one of Europe’s largest oil refineries in the town. Other industries based in Grangemouth offices include engineering companies, pharmaceutical services and technology companies. Today, Grangemouth’s port is one of the main ports in the UK, with the largest container terminal in Scotland, handling 9 million tonnes of cargo each year.

Frequent bus routes give access to the port and the districts of Grangemouth. Edinburgh and Glasgow airports are twenty miles and thirty miles away respectively, operating worldwide flights.

The Charlotte Dundas Court Shopping Precinct has a wide range of shopping outlets, from high street names and department stores to luxury fashion brands, independent traders and specialist shops. There are several major supermarket retailers on the outskirts of the town. A variety of cafés, bars, pubs, coffee shops and restaurants are located in the town, providing office workers with a number of lunchtime options.
