About Cannon Street

Cannon Street, in the city centre, is the heart of London’s financial centre, housing investment companies and banking groups in a wide range of modern office space.  Cannon Street was originally the home of candle-makers, and then later in the 19th century, industrial warehouses lined the street and were filled with cotton and fabric goods. Today, Cannon Street is home to the offices of a wide range of companies, including technology firms, business services and property companies.

Considered to be one of the longest streets in London’s city centre, Cannon Street runs from St Paul’s Cathedral to Monument station, at the junction of King William Street and Gracechurch Street. Boasting its own underground station, and with several other stations in easy reach, Cannon Street is superbly connected to the rest of the capital, making it an excellent location to base your business.

Office Premises in Cannon Street

Located in the centre of the City and London’s financial district, the majority of the office space available is in large, modern and contemporary, often glass-fronted, buildings offering a range of open plan and coworking space. Most of the offices are serviced and provide a wide range of services, meeting and conference rooms, with many boasting panoramic views over London’s skyline. There is office space in charming converted listed and period properties, such as in Queen Victoria Street, offering individual office suites as well as open-plan offices.

Transport Connections

Office tenants benefit from a range of transport links. Cannon Street and Mansion House underground stations are on the District and Circle lines, whilst Cannon Street is also on the South Eastern mainline rail service. There are three bus routes serving the area, and a night bus route. Cannon Street is within the London Congestion Zone. London City Airport, with regular flights to Europe, is also within easy reach of Cannon Street.

Food and Drink

Cannon Street has one of the highest concentrations of pubs in London’s city centre, ideal for drinks with the team after work. In addition to the wide range of office premises, Cannon Street is home to a plethora of cafes, takeaways, coffee shops and restaurants.
