About Broadgate

The Broadgate estate is located in the City of London and was the largest office development in London until the construction of Canary Wharf in the early 1990s. The modern development is mostly pedestrianised and is on the original Broad Street station site, which closed in 1986. Included in the estate are Broadgate Circle and Exchange Square. 

In the middle of London’s financial district, Broadgate offers a mix of retail, culture and new food opportunities, all sited around public squares. The centre offers a wide range of outlets, from sport and leisure, craft beer and cocktails, hair and beauty, coffee shops and cafes, to street food and fine dining restaurants. Designer names and luxury goods meet independent traders and quirky outlets. There is also a busy programme of events that takes place monthly. 

Broadgate Tower is the fifth tallest building in the City. It was completed in 2008 and stands over the railway tracks the leave Liverpool Street station. In 2010, Broadgate started to host the Broadgate Farmers’ Market which takes place twice a month.
