About Battersea

Located in South West London, Battersea is a thriving commercial area, boasting Victorian architecture, green spaces and riverside buildings. Once largely farmland, the Industrial Revolution and the arrival of the railway transformed Battersea into a busy industrial hub with lots of factories built in the area. The area is famous for the disused Battersea Power Station, which is now being redeveloped to bring new homes, modern office space, restaurants, shops and entertainment space.
