Serviced office provider Citibase is launching a new serviced office space in the centre of Liverpool. The Liverpool Moorfields location will contain 27,000 square feet of flexible office space and is expected to be home to over 450 businesses ranging from start-ups to large corporations. The new flexible office hub is predicted to provide a big boost to the Liverpool economy, given that a wide variety of businesses will be able to take advantage of the ideally located and affordable serviced office space.

The offices will be in Centric House which is owned by CERT Property. The company purchased the five-storey building with the intention of converting it into flexible office space. This is the second management deal they have made with Citibase in six months; after their agreement to have the office providers manage what is now Citibase Salford Quays. The building sits across from Moorfields station, in one of the best business locations in Liverpool, just a short walk from Liverpool’s famous waterfront.

As with most of their offices, Citibase Liverpool Moorfields will offer a variety of serviced office spaces with flexible terms for organisations of all different sizes. This means a wide range of Liverpool’s many businesses will be able to set up shop in the newly-refurbished building. Those who make it their home will have many of the advantages of serviced offices, such as 24/7 office access, along with meeting rooms available upon request, an impressive reception area, professional services and bike racks.

This is Citibase’s fifth serviced office space in the North West. With further spaces in Warrington, Manchester and Salford, it is clear that the flexible workspace boom has taken hold in the area. The new offices mark another development in Liverpool which, itself, has been a city changing for some time. Since winning the 2008 European Capital of Culture, Liverpool has seen huge redevelopment programmes, starting with Liverpool ONE and the Echo Arena. Over the last ten years new museums, train stations and football stadiums have proved that Liverpool is a city in continual growth and Citibase Liverpool Moorfields serves as yet another example of this.
