Business members club No18, part of International Workplace Group, has taken the remaining 40,000 sq ft of office space at the Battersea Power Station for its first UK location of its business member’s club concept.

IWG bought No18 last year, which currently has two venues in Stockholm and has also signed deals to expand in the US and Switzerland. Michel Gordin, CEO and founder of No18, explains the aim of the members club is to “create a workplace that is a mixture of efficient office, professional meeting place and members club – with all the comforts of home."

IWG’s member’s club brand will create a bespoke workspace offering called ‘The Engine Room’ over two floors at the renovated Grade II listed Power Station on the south bank of the Thames. Founder of No18, Michel Gordin described Battersea Power Station as “the perfect fit for us – a place brimming with stories, where heritage meets novelty.”

The business members club will sit next door to Apple’s London campus when it opens in 2021, which agreed to take 500,000 sq ft of office space over 6 floors at the redevelopment.

Andrew Hilston, Head of Leasing at Battersea Power Station Development Company commented that “with Apple’s new London campus and now No18’s innovative, design-led offering moving here, Battersea Power Station is set to become the centre of one of London’s most exciting tech and media districts.”
