About Surrey Quays

Located in south-east London in Rotherhithe, Surrey Quays is primarily a residential area that is becoming an increasingly popular office location with companies that want to benefit from its prime location. While the docks were officially closed in the late 1960s, a huge regeneration of the area started taking place in the 1980s, transforming the area into a modern mixed-use development while retaining much of the character of the docklands.

Surrey Quays is home to a number of different businesses, from small law firms and banking services to technology call centres and estate agents. Businesses enjoy working in Surrey Quays as it provides great connections to the financial hubs of London, without the central London price tag. Being so close to Canary Wharf and Canada Water makes this location ideally suited to companies in the financial sector, as it is close enough to make networking convenient and easy.

Available Office Space in Surrey Quays

Surrey Quays has a mix of converted properties and purpose-built premises, each with great facilities and transport links close by. While most of the offices here are private, there are also coworking spaces on the outskirts of Surrey Quays for businesses who require this flexibility.

The commercial properties in Surrey Quays can be leased on a flexible basis and on serviced or managed terms, depending on the needs of individual businesses. Nearby Areas

Surrey Quays is close to Bermondsey, Canada Water and Southwark, with Canary Wharf and Millwall just across from the River Thames. Just south of the area is South Bermondsey and the north of the Deptford area. While the precise boundaries of this area are somewhat vague, it is considered to form the southern half of the Rotherhithe peninsula from Canada Water down to the South Dock.

Surrey Quays has a host of great bars and gastropubs for meals and after-work drinks, including The Mayflower – the oldest pub located on the Thames – and The Surrey Docks.

There is also a leisure park here that includes a cinema, several restaurants and a bingo hall.
